- Polyps are not treated with drugs. They are removed by surgery.

Kalisiomu. Clinical trials have suggested that taking 1 mg to 200 mg per day of calcium supplements may help prevent recurrence of polyps oporoku. This effect would be more pronounced on large polyps1-5 . A recent synthesis6 confirmed this effect, but refrained from recommending making it a generalized preventive measure for those at risk.
