A cassette recorder, a push-button telephone, film cameras, gum inserts – today this is useless rubbish. Of course, not a single child, even the smartest one, will understand how a pencil and an audio cassette are connected. And if you say that at the dawn of the Internet century, you could either surf the net or make calls? You are probably still flinching from the “cat” sounds that the modem emits.
What about a CD player? It was generally the ultimate dream! Now show anyone this battery-powered brick – they will laugh. The game “Electronics”, the hero of which, the indefatigable wolf from “Well, wait a minute!” Why, we even collected candy wrappers from sweets! And today’s kids can hardly find a secret hiding place with treasures dug somewhere in a secluded place: glass pieces, an old bead from mom’s necklace and a piece of lead melted at the stake with their own hands.
However, another couple of decades will pass, and today’s teenagers will remember modern gadgets with nostalgia. Everything that comes from childhood is always dear and memorable. So let us remember those whom we ourselves once enjoyed.
