It is difficult for our body to cope with the stress that falls on us every day. Chronic sleep deprivation. Roaring alarm clocks. Long working day, and kids have extra activities after school. Lack of vacation. Overweight, lack of nutrients and lack of regular exercise. Is there time to deal with stress in our crazy schedules?

Meanwhile, in the absence of stress, amazing things happen. Excess weight disappears, diseases attack you less often, and the risk of chronic diseases decreases. You look and feel younger. Fortunately, there are simple ways to reduce the negative effects of stress.

Before you shower, get dressed, start your daily routine, have breakfast, turn on the computer, send the children to school, devote 15 minutes every morning to the same activities that will calm the mind and make the body move. Make them your habit, your healthy morning routine.

What is meant by a healthy morning routine? Here’s a simple set of actions that might work for you:

1. When you wake up, drink 2 glasses of room temperature water, add the juice of half a lemon for added benefit.

2. Take 5 minutes of meditation. An easy way to meditate for beginners is described here.

3. Do a 10-minute exercise that will invigorate you and improve blood circulation.

If you regularly devote 15 minutes to these activities, wonderful things will begin to happen. You will take care of your health throughout the day, for example, refusing a fat donut in a cafe at lunchtime; decide to use the stairs and avoid the elevator; Take breaks from work to get outside and get some fresh air.

All these little things will benefit your health every day.

Imagine that your health is a bank account. You will only receive what you have invested, but in the end, a small interest will run up.

One of our main excuses for not eating healthy foods, exercising, or dealing with stress is lack of time. But try starting with 15 minutes a day – everyone can afford it!
